Me: My name is Lisa, and no matter what anyone tells you, I’m 29. I have no plans on EVER turning 30. The way I see it, as long as I keep changing the year of my birth on Facebook each year, I’ll be 29 forever. And I like it that way! 🙂
I’m a stay-at-home mom currently residing in Pewaukee, WI. I’ve lived in Wisconsin my entire life. Grew up in Elroy, WI a very small town about 30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells. Went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (very nice institution, but let me tell you, I did not look forward to walking across the bridge when it was 10 below….and anyone that has gone to school there will know EXACTLY what I’m talking about!)
I’ve been married to my husband for 7 years. We met at school, were engaged after just a few months, and finally wed about 3 years later. I left school after our wedding (I only have 18 credits left, if I ever decide to go back) and moved to the Milwaukee area where my husband was working.
I enjoy scrap-booking, knitting scarves (because that’s the only thing I know how to knit!), traveling, reading, watching shows on the History channel, throwing incredibly AWESOME birthday parties for my boys, and asking my husband incredibly stupid questions about NASCAR when he’s trying to watch a race. And my newest obsession is box tops. I just became one of the Box Tops for Education coordinators for my son’s school.
I hate veggies, changing diapers, watching NASCAR, and people that don’t clip box tops. I get incredibly sick on planes (very sorry if you’ve ever been sitting next to me), I think it’s really weird that Dino Dan is the ONLY person that sees the dinosaurs outside, I just don’t understand Yo Gabba Gabba, and wonder why everything I try on at the store makes me look fat. 🙂
Tim: Coming Soon! 🙂
Carter: Carter’s nickname is “Buddy Alligator”. Don’t ask me how we came up with that one, but we’ve been calling him that ever since he was a baby. There have been calendars, shirts, and magnets made with the Buddy Alligator logo.
He’ll be turning 5 in May and is currently in 4K.
Carter LOVES Johh Deere, the movie CARS, dinosaurs, mac and cheese, snakes, making stupid faces when I try to take his picture, and hitting his brother.
He would like everyone to know that he HATES asparagus, sharing his toys, and sometimes his brother.
Cooper: His original nickname was “Mini-Coop”, but he became quite the pudgy little baby shortly after birth, and was thus nicknamed “Chunky Monkey” (and so far my friends Ben and Jerry haven’t had a problem with this).
Cooper will be turning two in a couple weeks. 🙂
Cooper is my little monster. I’ve told Tim several times that if Cooper had been born first, there would be NO Carter. He does not like to cuddle or sit still, always needs to be picked up, and screams like a banshee. But he’s started to mellow in the last month or so.
Cooper loves Elmo, Mickey Mouse, John Deere, eating, and hitting his brother.
Cooper hates veggies (well he dislikes most foods, except for cookies) and shopping. He’s been banned from Target, Pick N’Save, and Walmart for disorderly conduct. 🙂
Mr. Stan: He’s our cat. He is 6 years old, loves cat nip, the sun, napping, and napping in the sun. His favorite time of the day is when the boys are sleeping. His favorite spot in the house is the drawer until Cooper’s crib (where all the soft blankets are kept)….and this drives me NUTS because I’m constantly having to wash the blankets (even though they had been clean) because of all the cat hair!!!!
He hates driving in the car and going to the vet.
His best friend is Noey the hamster (although given the chance, I’m sure he’d eat him).
Noey: Noey is Carter’s hamster. He’s about 15 months old…..so he only has a few good months left, and he only has 3 legs. He was born with 4, but lost one in a tragic accident.
Noey loves sleeping, carrots, and running around in his ball.
Noey dislikes Mr. Stan (they are not best friends, no matter what Mr. Stan says). And he doesn’t understand the appeal of running in his wheel….he runs and runs and never gets anywhere.
